This day is all about you, and we shall do our utmost to ensure that your needs and wishes are met. Our approach is flexible and we are happy to discuss your ideas. We can offer advice and guidance to ensure that everything goes smoothly and you and your guests enjoy a fabulous day that you will never forget. Below are some of the services we offer, but please bear in mind that we can make adjustments and additions to suit your own requirements.
Ceremonies are usually performed in our elegant Garden Room which links directly to our terrace and lovely secluded gardens. We also have several other rooms licensed for civil ceremonies depending on your needs.
The Royal Hotel has its own dedicated restaurant and our chefs have designed a range of menu options to suit your requirements and budget. We can also work with you to design an individual menu and if you wish we can serve your wedding breakfast in the Garden Room.
To turn your perfect day into the perfect evening, we can provide either a sit-down meal or buffet reception. We offer a range of buffet menus to suit your requirements and, as always, we are very happy to design a buffet menu especially for you. Please call us to discuss menu options and prices.
We can also organise the entertainment for you. Whether you’d like a disco or live entertainment, we can book DJs and bands and ensure that you and your guests party and dance the night away.
The bar will stay open late if you wish and we have the facility to charge drinks either to a wedding account or to individuals on a cash basis.
The Royal Hotel houses 36 en-suite bedrooms including singles, doubles, twin and family rooms. These may be booked for guests wishing to stay overnight or for your bridesmaids and family to use as dressing rooms.
Our special wedding/partnership reception package priced at £25.00 per person, is designed to include everything that you require from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave and includes:
Red Carpet on arrival
Bucks Fizz, Pimms or Sherry reception for your guests
Extensive choice of menu
Wedding serviettes
Use of silver cake stand and cake knife
Sparkling wine to toast the Bride and Groom
